I’ve finally got around to getting my rec160 project off the ground – an occasional but hopefully not too occasional series of recommended entertainment. It’ll be new stuff and archived stuff that I’ve enjoyed and want to share the word about.

Recs will have the tag rec160 for easy ordering, though the blog has been pretty quiet of late so they won’t be hard to find.

Why 160? Well, that was the ideal length for reviews when I wrote for a newspaper – I expect to dredge up a few of those from the morgue – and keeping to that exact word count is a neat way of keeping the reviews bite-sized and hopefully engaging.
